Contribute to the achievement of the DUHS miss ionthrough thedevelopment and leadership of performance improvement acti vities in theoperational and/or clinical arenas. Assure continual compli ance withregulations and accreditation standards through monitoring acti vitiesand the design and implementation of strategies to enhance complia nce.

Work Performed

Planactivities aimed at improvin gthe hospital's performance inoperationsor clinical quality.Identify opp ortunities for improved performance. Analyze data toidentify adverse tre nds and/or undesirable performance.Utilize performance improvement techn iques and methodologies.Serve as a project manager for interdisciplinary teams.Establish performance targets.Design and implement strategies fore nhancing performance.Evaluate effectiveness of improvement strategy thro ugh sustainedmonitoring of performance.Contribute to the establishmentof performance improvement prioritiesfor departments, functional unitsandfor the organization as a whole.Support organization's efforts to mainta in compliance with regulationsand accreditation standards. Monitor compl iance through formal andinformal processes. Recognize opportunitiesfor i mproving compliance.Design and implementstrategies for enhancing compli ance.Evaluate effectiveness of improvement strategy through sustainedmon itoring of performance. Minimum Qualifications


Bachelors degree in a business or health-related field is required.


Minimum of 5 years work experience, including 3 years of experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. Experience leading work teams required. Experience can be supplemented with Master's degree with a Masters being equivalent to two years of experience.
